T1 with R123

Anyone tried? I tried once last night, full brightness for 10 mins and very dim afterwards.....

Whose R123 did you use and what brand charger? Could you measure remaining voltage of R123 after light had gone to dim level?

I just read a post two days ago that said a rechargeable 123 batt will destroy the t1 electronics over time and two batts will instantly kill the t3. Ok, I found it right here.

Oh..thanks for the post. Guess my R123 were not fully charged.......lucky
