  • "Sub-milliamp" glow in 2 outer LEDs when light is "off"
  • Solid-state switching
  • Average white LED tint
  • Average brightness for 3x 5mm LEDs
  • Rechargable cells do not power light well enough
  • Tailcap is retained poorly - any force against it will likely break adhesive retaining block that tailcap thumbscrew threads into
  • Reflector does next to nothing for beam profile
  • Suggested use: giveaway

I, not so regretably, returned one of these to Big Lots thinking it wasn't supposed to glow all the time. It did seem to be especially second-rate. Thanks for your reviews.

I'm not sure if the constant glowing is an intended feature, or just the bi-product of a hastily-implemented solid-state switching circuit.

I've had mine for a long time, and the batteries are still going strong.
