Tec 40 vs LX Discussion

Hi, I'm new to the CPF. Noticed the abovementioned discussion under the thread "Is a modded PT Tec40 as bright as E2?"

When I clicked on the hyperlink, a new window opens up with nothing inside.

I would like to find out more details, especially about the mentioned calculations, and possibly about other bulbs that could be used with the Tec 40.

Can't help much on your question, sorry. However have you considered meeting hotfoot. He lives in singapore and has both lights you mention and would most likely be willing to help.

There has been various discussions on bulb alternatives for the Tec 40 if you wish to do a search. If I recall, member Alan in particular has done a lot of experimenting in this area.
