Terminology (need some help)

i love reading the threads on CPF. matter of fact i read them every day. however, when i read a thread about a mod, etc., i don't really know much of the terminology dealing with the properties of electricity. (amper, ohm, wattage, volts, etc.) can anyone suggest some sites that have information about electricity thats not too extremely technical? with a better understanding i'm sure i could really enjoy more of what this great forum has to offer.
