TerraLux drop-ins using CREE now?

Or was I fooled by an ebay seller claiming his tle 6ex drop in has CREE leds in it? He says terralux just announced this week and he had the email to prove it. I called terralux and they don't specify which lamps they use though I've seen SSC and K2's mentioned.

Terralux has used Cree, Seoul, K2, and TFFC K2 LEDs. The current ones use the TFFC K2.
