My thoughts about the TLE-100:
1. It's beam has many artifacts.
2. Do Not Twist The Head as it will break the pins and you'll have to solder new ones back on (don't be like me). There's no warning at all--on the box or in the instructions.
3. The one I have is a bit more purple than white, probably because they upgraded the LED.
4. It seems to be as bright as the stock bulb but without the reflector, there really is no throw.
5. You can't use the original reflector and lens.
6. It's still pretty good for the price. It will be my backup in case I need longer run time.
