This is a high current battery, how high varies with where I look. With the battery I got a note saying 30A, as can be seen above Keeppower gives it a higher rating on their website. I did also find a datasheet with discharge curves up to 20A.

Very good tracking between the cells. Looking at these curves I would prefer to stay at 20A or below in current.

Conclusion

This is a very good high current battery, it has fairly high capacity and can deliver a lot of current.

This must be the Sony vtc5 cell. I've been waiting for this test. Thanks Hjk. Seems just as good voltage under load as the lg 18650he2 cell but with a bit more capacity.

I haven't seen the Keeppower wrapped one yet online, but the cell it seems to be based on, the Sony VTC5.

By the way guys, apparently Sony has discontinued the VTC5, so I'm assuming we may not see any Keeppower models of it

There are conflicting reports saying that the VTC5 is discontinued and some saying it's still in production, I'm not sure what to believe. All I know for sure is that there is a lot of fake VTC5 cells appearing lately so I thought I'd try getting some of these Keeppower Cells to try out. I'm crossing my fingers that keeppower do release these cells for consumer purchase.

Unless you want to accidentally buy fake VTC5 cells which seems to flooded the market as of now, do rush. The real adventure begins now in trying to find the genuine VTC5 cells, even illumination supply pulled their VTC5 cells off the shelves after realizing they were Samsung cells wrap up to look like Sony cells. This is the reason why I want to get this Keeppower cell since it performs just like the real VTC5 cells according to this review.

Awesome Review

Question: What IMR/INR 18650 battery do you consider to preform the best overall or top five? Now that there are more coming out of recent.
