The two cells tracks very nicely and the cell can deliver rated current.

Hi, I recently got two of these brand new and I noticed some really small silver dots on it in some places. Is it still safe to use?

I take it these are not punctures in the wrapper? Even then, You should be fine. Have fun (!), yet be informed, practice common sense, and be aware of what is around you.

I'm not sure if they are punctures in the battery wrapper, and I use them in vape devices so wasn't sure if they are safe or not to use in my mod. I've ordered new battery wraps just incase though but have to wait a while to get them.

You may have some serious amperage during use. Do you have electrical tape to make a small patch over those spots? Will the battery fit in your mod with those patches installed?

Yes I do have some electrical tape that's insulation tape right, if I add some tape on those spots? Will that make it completely safe to use?

It is probably safe without the added electrical tape, just adding protection out of caution. Thing is, no one can guarantee anything is completely safe. If you are doing some kind of hotrod mod to vape, that in itself is good reason to be cautious. @bykfixer is in the know on that stuff.

Understood, it makes sense you gotta know what you are doing and keep safe. I'm using a regulated mod from a reputable company as my mod, from what I've seen everywhere it seems the safest option is to change the wrap completely if you are unsure and then continue.
