Almost forgot about the Turbo attached to my welding helmet. Works wonderfully with its hotspot right where I want to start the weld.

Enlarging the Quark's body enough to accommodate an 18650 battery left little metal for threads. The workaround was a plastic coupler that did not stand up well to normal EDC.

The Maelstrom line, on the other hand, is a great choice for those wanting to step up to the larger-sized battery.

I got the MK III Turbo and have been tempted to get the mini. Do the minis have a reflector or optic?

Has anyone tried the new Prometheus foursevens clip on the one aa battery body?

My least favorite thing about the old clip is the amount it drags on the head, and the fact that the retaining ring is uneven (the clip forces it over a bit) - does the new bead blasted clip fix this issue?
