Could some kind of aspherical lens be added to this for more throw? How does it throw now?

I think I can imagine the intensity...walk outside around 2PM where the sun is up and clouds are away, then add a dark vignette frame around your peripheral vision...there you go:D

Also the center led will shutdown at 13 volts indicating it's time to charge the battery's.


Wait a second....unless I totally misunderstand something.....the center (MC-E) turns off when it's time to charge. So instead of 5600, you have 4800 lumens coming out the frint. If one doesn't notice this decrease (which is quite likely really), does the beam shape change that much? or do you "just" have to turn the light aroung and look into the belly of the beast? (AAGH! I'm blind....but I'm a little elss blind right in the middle....so I guess I should charge the batteries!)

That said....HOLY SHNIKES! I'll take one, Mac, that thing is a fantastic work of art!!!
