I built this flashlight some time ago but never made pics...
so that's it:

Mag3c, Lux V WW0S, Downboy 917mA, UCL-lens
Yes, I know, the reflector is full of dust

2 x LG 18650 2400mAh Li-Ion with a spacer

Mag 3c Lux V,
(There is a lot more spill than the Lux III but barely visible on the photo.)
Not anymore turning the head for focusing.

Mag 2c with Lux III U-bin Badboy 750mA

SF 9P, Lux V WY0S,McR27-L, Downboy 917mA

Was thinking about it the other day, the cost factor is the main put off with Cree die doing 240Lumens at 1A. BUT LuxV has a bigger hotspot and it's proven suitable for the Mag reflector.

The big die of the Lux V perform maybe more light output with the reflector against a 1 mm2 die. The wide angel of the Lux V lens is a big plus.
