Has anyone had issues with scratches on the lenses?

Mine is glass. I actually tried to lightly scratch it and couldn't. High heat will muck with any plastic lens. So it may depend on model?
I have the Javelot mini and it has a glass lens.

Was that from a malfunction? or just using it normally and it decided to go get all droopy?

Tell us what was going on when this occurred of you can.

Edit:
From the manual -
•Do not activate the maximum brightness mode multiple times continuously to prevent the high temperature on the surface.
•When the light gets hot, please switch it to low brightness mode, or shut off the flashlight temporarily.
•Active thermal management: The built-in thermistor monitors the temperature of the light in real time and suppresses overheating by reducing the output.
