They did it. The blf GT does in fact hit 1.2 Million CD. Here is a quick comparison to some other lights to show the size and then the light its self in better detail. i took some beamshots but i cant really do anything more then that due to the fact everywhere i can possibly shine it would annoy someone. dont need the cops called.

Here is a very low exposure shot of the GT vs the 700kcd T21vn with Oslon Led. The warmer one is the GT

I just read something about units with (cells included) haven't been shipped yet. I probably shouldn't have ordered the cells that were recommended, but I'm used to waiting... my Deft-X has been at Mr. Johnson's house since Oct. 1 of 2016 (LOL). I paid almost a thousand dollars for that light 16 months ago and have yet to see the beam. I don't even care anymore.

I lost $350 - $400 on the flashlights buying it from the other seller.. they never sent me the lights.. only buy lights from the skylumen.

The TN42vn thread got locked, so not sure where I can add my name for a pass-around of the TN42vn90. Would LOVE to compare this to my TN42vn.

Cheers, and Happy New Year all!

Much higher quality sky shot(well it was but when i upload the quality goes grainy ugh)

In this shot i take the exposure way down and compare it to a 1 million cd 55W Hid spotlight with a 9 inch reflector. Yes the GT is more intense. Move over Hid you are obsolete.

I Like very large flashlights. I like Vinh lights. When this item has Vinhs' stamp on it, I will add it to my want list.

hey rich, i am gonna be honest. This blf gt is already great without v54 stamp.. if you want a blf gt vn, he can mod it for you. After all, it's all came down to personal preferences.

I agree...But then again most lights nowadays are great in stock form. Factory are more open to pushing them to limits now.

its not pushed i dont think
my tn42vn i got from you puts out 2500 lumens
my gt only puts out around 2000 lumens
i was hoping for at least 2500 with this light
it is a noticeable diff in a bounce test
the BLF GT is begging for that new CFT-90 LED for sure
it would be worthy of the extra size and weight then.

vinhns quote from the locked thread, about getting close to 2mcd out of the blf gt, with the CFT-90 LED

2 MCD? nahhhhhh

Double the lumen wont get double Mcd

Even if we can drive it to 5000 Lumen I dont think we will pass 1.2-1.5Mcd....

both my blf gts are right at 1.3 mcd out of the box
but only around 2000 lumens
my guess is going to be 1.8 mcd with the CFT-90 LED
that would be a worthy light to muscle around then
pushing 2mcd, and 4000 lumens or more would be awsome:thumbsup:

have you got your gt yet vinhn ?
