Nice!!

I’m so happy the p60 type module is still around :)
Such a cool way to be able to upgrade our favorite hosts and fine tune them to our personal tastes in tint, UI and beam shape.

I haven’t been able to find my CQVN for a while - I’m hoping it’s buried in my van somewhere....
Gutted if it’s lost -
Has a nitemods 18500 tube with a surefire tail & zerorez shorty brass insert and hand sanded smooth head with UCL lens + flush SS bezel.

Gonna year everything apart tmrw looking for it.

Fingers crosssed!

CQvn was my first vinh quad, xp-g2 5000k 4 mode, starts in low. Still today years on one of my all time fav p60’s. Had so much use in work and outside of. Punches out light very well and easily holds its own with the later LED options.

I turned my brother onto skylumen after he borrowed my TK75vnQ, so he buys himself the TN40vn and I got to try it out. Man it dusts my light, but he got cool white (gag, lol). I did notice that it really heats up quickly on turbo compared to my light, I wondered if the heat sinking (if that's the right term) is better on the Phoenix or that the tn40vn is just pushed harder or what, but I don't think I'll get a tn40vn for myself for this reason. Maybe ill get a bigger light that handles heat better idk.

If you want less heat I can drive lights a little less. Also you can turn down a 1 or two level and its still brighter than older lights. Reserve that extreme turbo for those special times ;-)

Tn40vn turbo mode is not meant to be used for long period of time... I think it also applied to most vn lights.. any level above 30% will lift up the field with the tn40svn..

I have a TK75vnQ sst40 version with narsil ramp ui (heard it's going to be in drivervnx3) and with the extreme ability to control output I can light up enough to what I need. Really helps in heat and it's comparable to the TN40Svn which will be one of the next lights I buy.

Here’s a couple of older pics - I still cant find it but I’ve got a few places left to look.

The nitemods (fivemega) tubes are AWESOME with thick anodizing even on the threads (unlike solarforce:() for easy lockout.

The shorty zerorez is cool for having an 18650 in a 18500 body - twist of course but u can still get it to do momentary.

Nice photo psy.. those cqvn or p60vn are tough.. maybe it fall off from the bicycle?? I hope its somewhere inside your bus.. finger crossed..

WOW I like. So nice to see these lights in action!!!
