Out of 11 blades tested:

Milwaukee Iron-carbide were the sharpest out of package but didn't hold up long.

Stanley Fatmax Carbide offered the best retained sharpness for the price.

Dewalt Carbide was the most expensive and 3rd least sharp out of the package. It held up best against the four types of media tested; cardboard, drywall, copper and soft steel staples. It was the overall winner.

Niceeee

Almost perfect simple design. I had to glue on some plastic on top of the
tab to eliminate blade play back and forth. Also flatten out the front
track a bit to reduce side to side play.
Add a bit of Knurling too hahah

The more realistically I look at my knife needs/usage, the more carrying something like that makes sense. Reminds me of this meme I found a while back;

The two that I seem to use the most...

That little, plastic Sheffield brand is super cheap, maybe even junk but it keeps working and it's less than an ounce at 26 grams!

Impressive. It was pretty creative for Luminus to use an optical window instead of a dome, in the first place. The cooler shift caused by the window is probably a byproduct rather than a desired outcome. Once the LED is installed in a light, the exposed bond wires aren't really an issue anyway.

I really hope the W40 and W50 will use a new 1000 lumens LEP module instead of the same 500 lumens module

I can't wait for the Acebeam W50vn.

If the W50 can throw 6 KM, it will throw even further with a boost from Vinh.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

That’s fantastic, Vinh.

I wonder if you could make a little slot on the back side that a coin cell battery could slide into and make the emitter glow ever so faintly during a night out on the town. Just enough for people to ask, “Is that piece of jewelry glowing?” :D

That would be so cool! As a flashaholic, can you imagine if you saw someone in public wearing something like that?! Haha! I'd be amazed!
