That MM25MBvn is a interesting light. I didn't know much about it so I looked it up... It turns out it's a larger light that it looks in that picture, 4 x18650's. Then I saw what LED's you put in there. That's a pretty awesome mule with a pretty paint job!

Having trouble with Driver VN4.

My T27vn90 is in a "lower" output mode at this time. I'm guessing it's 33% and only has a single mode.

With light on, I press 10 times quickly, a slow blink initiates.... now I press 4 times quickly for deck number 4, a fast blink initiates.... I press 3 times quickly for mode group 3 (100/33/5/F)... except nothing happens. It's still in the same, single mode 33ish percent range. No matter what deck I select or which mode group I select, I can't get out of the single mode.

I figure I'm missing something obvious

Okay, I figured it out. Programming lock was engaged without me intending to engage it. So now I've got that sorted out.

The only problem is that Deck 4, mode group three, is supposed to give firefly but it doesn't. The light cycles from 100, 33, 5, nothing, 100, 33, 5, nothing.

Any ideas?

I just programed in 10-3-9 => 100/33/F but only 100 and 33 produce light. Firefly mode just isn't working regardless of the deck or mode setting I select.

So any ideas at this stage?:thinking:

I remember Vinh saying for certain lights, firefly mode will not work. I think it has to do with the led being used. I think my cft90 tn42vn is the same way.

CFT and SBT soemtimes doesn't light up in moonlight...I havent figure out why...Since we are not able to change firefly level with VN4 I am a bit stuck right now. I will get back as to why this is the case.

Thanks guys! The funny thing about it is that it was working when the light arrived and I used it that way for a couple of days. Then, without ever changing modes, firefly stopped working, which is what prompted me to go find a Deck and Mode without a "dead spot." Even funnier, the programing my light came with from Vinh was one of the goldilocks settings and the exact setting that I wanted, Deck 4, Mode 3. Since firefly no longer works, I've switched to Deck 3, Mode 3, (100,33,5). No more dead spot and 5% is low enough if I want to dial it way back.

I have an SLN with SBT90, and have it in mode [FONT=Verdana,Arial,Tahoma,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]Firefly/5%/33%/100%.

Th Firefly mode works, although it projects a visible spot of more than 10 feet in darkened rooms, so it is probably brighter than standard Firefly.

Everyone needs a break, a day of rest. That's how God designed the week! We personally take Saturday as our sabbath of rest. Your work ethic is fantastic, Vinh, but you seem prone to pushing yourself too hard. We all appreciate your work ethic, but I know most of us would be more than okay waiting a day longer for our orders, if it means you take the time you need for yourself and your family.
