Dunno since I only have older model as well but FYI, in case you didn’t know, Gene told me older models are only made to use single 3.7 li-ion and never two primaries which newer models can handle.

I definitely would like to try a z26 lanyard ring, I’m just not a fan at paying the $17.50 shipping costs for an $9 item

Definitely. I would like to try some LF parts out also. I just don’t wanna have to order a large amount of items at one time, in case the fact it doesn’t work out for me

You might want to fit a breakaway connection just for safety reasons 🤔

my first thought as well :D paracords are fine and well until you realise you can easily break your wrist or literally hang yourself with your self made creations... that's one of the reasons I'm iffy about paracord watch straps, you may not wanna lose your watch, but also you might want to have your hand

Paracord watch straps and bracelets are a no go for me

well, if it's a genuine cobra then it will open at 18kN pull force, so if you're over 1800kg ( ~4000lbs ) in that case yeah, sure it will break :D
It is a genuine Cobra, but the non-weight rated version. I believe it’s called the FM series (fashion something or other).
