I have the Victorinox Swisschamp from the late '80s or early '90s and I tried to EDC it. Yes, I got a few "are you happy to see me..." questions with that thing in my pocket and it's roughly 1/4 the size of that monster.
 
I lost 2 fingers trying to open the dang thing,,,not to mention my pants falling down when I carry it in my pocket. but I do got to admit the gas powered chain saw feature works great

Why would you need so many features in a knife, i had one of the most basic Swiss army knives and only ever really used the knife and sometimes the screwdriver.
 
It was, of course, never designed to be carried in a pocket or otherwise. One of the Wenger assemblers had the idea to create a showcase piece that had every tool they made on it. That is the result. As said before, it is meant for collectors, not users ;)
