I have a Nite Ize Holster Stretch, and am very happy with it. My only complaint is that inserting the light one-handed takes a bit of effort.

I find the rotating clip quite handy, and have used it in hands-free mode numerous times.

I tried that one and sent it back for a refund. I didn't like the clip design at all.
ah dang. the clip is different, but suits my uses well :/

heck yeah man! I never thought about using it to hold the light when it's on. That's an awesome idea.

you're right about reinserting it by one-handed means though

quick query: is the M61N at Malkoff's site (4000K, XP-G2) left over from Oveready's stock? I have an M61N I bought from the Malkoff site a week or two ago in my Z2+A19 (effectively a Z3) and it's perfect. Really a lot like a Nichia 219 imo but less floody

I'm glad to hear that about the M61N. I just ordered one yesterday along with the SL Stinger drop-in. Can't wait to give new life to a couple of old work horses.

good man :)

Well comparing my M61N (XP-G2, 4000K of course) to my M61L 219 (Nichia 219, 4500k), the M61N is a bit rosy relatively speaking, but I think that is to be expected given its lower color temp, no?

regardless of that (and considering my M61L 219 is a lower output model), they both have their uses for me without a doubt.

Titonium, have you had a Nichia 219 LED light before?

edit: the M61N's "rosy" aspect is really only something you'll notice comparing it to the M61L 219 on a white wall I think. I couldn't say "oh yeah it's rosy" if I was using it in normal conditions. This M61N is solid.

I have 3 219's; M61LL 219 (my edc on a 6P), (2) 1 mode Nailbenders, and a 3 mode Nailbender. I can't see any rose color in any of these unless I compare it to my TK15 which has a very ice cold tint. The very slight rose tint does not bother me. I always find myself using lower modes, and I prefer neutral tints. I should be getting those drop-ins today. Hopefully I can learn to navigate this forum and post some pictures.

@ tobrien

I meant 4 219's. I have a buddy who thinks my 219's have a pleasant tint but finds them way too warm. He prefers the output and tint of his TM26 and TK75. I tell him he's comparing night and day. His response, "Exactly"!

A few high/low bezel switches are available, but they're going fast. I managed to pick up a couple.

Christmas came early. I received my M61N and MDSTG about an hour ago. I am very happy. On a white wall, the N is a lot like my LL 219, only brighter. The beam of the MDSTG reminds me of the SF LX2 plus a very usable spill. The original smooth reflector assembly does not do the MDSTG justice. The orange peel reflector/assembly is the way to go - very clean and smooth hotspot with plenty of spill.

tobrien,

Thanks for the info and link on the sheath. I plan on ordering one!

man you have FOUR 219s? that's awesome!

haha that's crazy that your buddy thinks a 219 is too warm. you're showing him the 219s in your Malkoffs, right? I could never call those warm haha. Of course the ~92 CRI 219 LEDs @ 4500K we all talk about aren't the only Nichia 219 models because I do think they make those down to 3000K color temp AFAIK.

sounds like you have a nice P60 module setup going!

no problem man! I think you're gonna like it! it's quite a snug fit (in my experience)! Additionally, with the price it's at, I'd consider it a bargain and it's no big loss if you don't like it. :)

i just got my m361 lmh

having owned over a dozen p60s over the last 2 years i had high expectations for a $60 drop in

the drop in has met and exceeded those expectations!

this thing is built like a tank! and wonderful tint and beam quality :)

im running mine in a solarforce l2i on an 18500 right now

Do you notice any PWM on the LMH drop-in. I have had my eye on one for a while but I can see the PWM on my MDC and was wondering if it is visible on the M361 LMH

Some time ago, I ran an M361 at .4 lumens (low setting and low of H/L ring) for nearly 600 straight hours on a single CR123 battery. I did not notice PWM until the final (25'th) day which tells you one of two things. Either; 1) PWM is not much of an issue, at low settings anyway, or 2) I'm the most unobservant idiot on the planet (which is a very real possibility). Actually, I had never heard of PWM until after my test. I wish I would have so I could have watched more closely for it.
