The official Malkoff Junkie thread. AKA The Malkoholics[/h]
Am I the only one?
When the Malkoff family comes out with a new product, you just have to have it?
Are you a Malkoff Junkie? Do you buy Malkoff products, when you really shouldnt? Or dont need them?
IMO, Malkoff devices are affordable to the common man, and have the best bang for the buck in the flashlight world, period.
So if You are a Malkoff Junkie, sound off!!!
I'll start a list.

I have a few, what are the qualifications? I think there should be a set number for one to be a "Malkoff Junkie" I don't know that I'm there.

Re: The official Malkoff Junkie thread.[/h]I so want to be a
Malkoff junkie I really need yet another great place to order from . I have three Surefire host waiting on Malkoff devices but ever since I became interested in them the M60 has been sold out and well of course so is the M61. I refuse to to put any other drop-in in my host until I get at least one M60 or M61.

EDC E1B, Tigerlight w/LED dropin for when I need more light. Love my new Zebralight H30 for floody tasks and my Quark Mini123 for being awesomely small and bright.

Re: The official Malkoff Junkie thread.[/h]I am a
Malkoff junkie, albeit I dont have enuff money to fund all my aspirations .
I currently own an M60, M60W, M30, M30W and the elusive and orgasmic M61 .
All of which have their own surefire host which are kept in pristine condition... 'cept the one I use on duty of course .
Might as well add me to the list... My wife says I am certifiable for all the stuff I have, especially after the pissing, whining, anxiousness, and victory dances after I got that M61 order in; not to mention the squealing and giggling after I got it home and lit her up for the first time. I though I was gonna pee myself... and then realized that I did .
Stay Safe... and addicted to Malkoff (hope your feeling better Gene)

Re: The official Malkoff Junkie thread.[/h]Count me in too, just got a two stage MD2 with the bezel down clip, my current favorite. It was good as a single stage but rose to the level of flashoholic perfection when I added the resistor and bezel down clip. The design kind of reminds me of an old ARC LS. Simple, clean lines. Would love to see the MD2 offered in natural HA. I saw one in a pic on the forum but have never seen them on the Malkoff site. I've been searching for the perfect led for years but it wasn't until the M60W that I felt that led's had finally reached the point where the color rendition and throw met and exceeded that of the incan SF p60.

Re: The official Malkoff Junkie thread.[/h]I currently only have a M60W with a very centered emitter and awesome beam. Had a M60W MCE and a regular M60. So glad I have at least one M60 still. I bought the very last one on his site before the M61 took over. What an exelent product and if you talk to him you realize you dealing with a very good guy.

Re: The official Malkoff Junkie thread.[/h]You're going to have to put me at the top of your list PSM. You know I was your enabler. I currently have 4 full lights and extra modules and have more hosts on the way to make it 6 complete Malkoff's and will still have modules in other hosts.
Actually I lied. I have 5 complete
Malkoff lites. Two MCEs in oher hosts and a couple other modules. When I get the latest I will have 7 complete Malkoffs and others in solarforce hosts. The Wildcat of course tops the list. Its awesome.

Re: The official Malkoff Junkie thread.[/h]Oh, man. I definitely fit this category.
Making this list from memory, I have:
(Every Malkoff body has a hi/low ring)
MD4 Wildcat Version 1 (quad XRE, warm white) - excellent bike headlight on cyclopblock mount
MD4 M60W-MCE (flood)
MD3 Wildcat Version 2 (triple XPG, warm white) - large EDC
MD3 M30W with 2xAA
MD2 (camo) M61W (neutral white) - small EDC
MD2 (camo) M61HCRI
MD2 (camo) M61HCRI
MD2 (black) M61W (neutral white) - in car glove compartment
MD2 (natural) M60WF - wonderful peachy white tint, most useful for daily/walking non-weapon use
M60 in SureFire 6P
M30W in FiveMega 3xAA host
P7 module for Maglite and a 2D -> 2x18650 adapter. Might get a few Li-ion D-cells for it sometime.
Mag 3-6D 240 lumen module in Mag 5D light (one of my best throwers, nice white tint)
SolarForce L2P, M61W (module wrapped with Al foil for electrical continuity and good thermal transfer) - strapped to bicycle helmet
M60 mounted on AR15 with Surefire Scout body and Valiant head
Valiant with a Surefire KX2 head and diffuser from Surefire Scout weapon light (backup EDC)
2 SureFire 6p lights with M60 modules mounted on weapons - perfect beam shape and brightness.
M60F - spare, displaced by neutral/warm/hcri modules
It's safe to say that I like Gene Malkoff's "weapons-grade" flashlight products. Wouldn't want to sell any of them, each has its advantages.
The M31 intrigues me, it would be interesting to try one in an MD3 body with hi-low ring and a couple AA eneloops. I'd love to hear from anyone who has done this.

Re: The official Malkoff Junkie thread.[/h]I think I qualifiy to the junkies.
When the
Malkoff family comes out with a new product, you just have to have it?
Are you a Malkoff Junkie? Do you buy Malkoff products, when you really shouldnt? Or dont need them?
I don't buy every new Malkoff, but I get those I find useful. Several dropins to different Maglites, and also MD2 and MD4 Wildcat belong to my collection.
Apart from that I am waiting for a standard Surefire 6P and 9P in some week. After have been playing with them a while, I am quite sure each Malkoff dropin will be on the way...
Edit: M60LL and M60LF are on the way to the Surefires.
Regards, Patric
