This is one group buy. Not two. There's nothing to be confused by, either you are in for 4000/5000K, or you are tentatively in for only one of them. Tentative votes are there because Gene said he will do a split batch with 15 of each, otherwise 20 is the minimum.

IMO I don’t think you would sit on them to long. After I hear more about them once people start getting them there’s a 50 percent chance I’ll snag one.
 
Alright fellas, decision time. Sorry for the delay, Corona-craziness has made work quite odd, and I only got around to this now.

We are so damn close, I'm going to pony up for the unfilled slots and we can do a 15/15 split. We will be able to get each K temp built at this quantity!That means one more 5000K and six 4000K for me. A few people expressed interest in some more, please let me know ASAP in this thread if you do.


Next for me...

I will send prompts for payments by Monday evening, please do not submit any payment yet. Reminder, this payment amount is not totally final as we only have costs of the dropin and PP fees, no LED price. I will consult further with Gene to see if he has any 4000K or 5000K XP-G2s he is able to use. Again, for this group buy I will not be making any profit. Afterwards..... fair game!



Next for us!

If we select our own, I'm thinking of finding a 80-85 CRI XP-G2 in each flavor (or what Gene stocks for the 4000K Ns currently...)

5000K crowd- any input is welcome, I will look for LEDs tonight and tomorrow and post what I find. I don't want this decision to get too drawn out so I reserve the right to Caesar it along.

Sorry for the delays everyone. COVID craziness required me to move a whole photo studio into my basement over the past few days.

I just heard back from Gene and we are a go.

I am looking at LEDs now, I'm just researching the bins a bit to see if I can find any samples.. The 4000K will be 80CRI. The 5000K will be 70CRI.

4000k LEDs are around $1/each 5000K are closer to $2/each.

I will send out PMs for Payments once I have selected the LEDs
