A dedomed 4000K 519a is one of the nicest LEDs I've seen. As mentioned before, it's similar in color temperature to a 219b sw30, but I actually find the tint much nicer. Whereas sw30 is more of a yellow warm white, the dedomed 519a is this perfect mix of creamy and rosy that's just so nice.

The only bummer with the SC53c N is the difficulty of getting at the emitter to remove the dome.

Can you confirm that dedoming an LED can lower color temperature as much as 1000K ?

Anyone else’s tracking not working for their SC53c N shipment?
It often takes until just after midnight for tracking to become active for many USPS shipments. I had trouble when I first tried the tracking number, just after getting the shipping notification from ZL, but after midnight I got my usual text from USPS confirming shipment with Monday as arrival date. Patience is the key word : )

It is a bit disturbing to see how few models are for sale but you’re probably right about selling down inventory before new releases. Seems like more of a “crash” than usual, but then with finding out a 519 is in the 53, yeah, I wouldn’t want to have “w” Cree on my shelf if I was going to put that in other new models.
I still sorta worry they are done with the SC5 line for good. I love it, but it could also be seen as a bit of an awkward big-for-AA size where, if you want it bigger than the 53, you might as well just go for a 64. Guess we’ll see. Happy about the new 53, ordered two.
And as for programming: wow, what an exchange, guys. I would agree it’s a VERY click heavy way to program, and no way but an multimeter to find out later what you (think you) put in. But I also can’t take it that seriously. I program g7, maybe g6, when I get a new light. My fingers will survive.

Perhaps this has been answered before, but has anyone use 2x CR123 in any of the H600 models? The specs list the operating voltage as 2.7-6.0V, but do not say anything in reference to using CR123s, only 18650 cells. I have a ton of cr123 primaries, and don't find myself using my single cell cr123 lights much these days, so I'm just looking to see if I can in fact use them on the low and medium outputs for the h600 that I have already.

Edit- same question for the sc600 flashlight model. Same operating voltage range listed, but then discusses a single 18650 in use.

I have tried it in the h600 models and it works, however I have not tried it for long periods of time

SC600 I don’t believe they will fit because they use pins instead of springs. They are a tight tolerance

It's hard to remember on a Zebra what you programed into G6 & G7 to get a good spread of functions and outputs.

Spreadsheet images for the 53 model and 53c N (note: correct output levels or runtimes not posted yet on 53c N...)

Not sure how to host original spreadsheet file; I imagine it could easily be updated for any Zebra model...

Any guesses as to why the 519a was used in the 1xAA offering, rather than a 1x18650 platform?

I saw on Reddit that Zebralight responded to a user's email stating the SC64c HI is going to use the 719a and the SC700d HI will use the XHP70.3 HI

Beside that, the 1xAA light deserves a good emitter too and I'm guessing Zebralight feels the 519A's output is more in line with their lowered powered lights.

My understanding is Nichia's x19 LEDs, 219, 319, 519, etc., are for lower voltages, the first number designates size. You can't have a 7V 1000Lm 219b. It will fry on the boost circuit of Liion, though can be direct drive on Liion.
