Just picked up my first ZLight, an SC65c. Amazing light. Took a little bit to get used to the interface, always been an HDS guy.

Really appreciate all the good info in this thread. Hopefully I can contribute when I learn more.
(-Would be fun to see this in a 123 batt. version.)
Still a work in progress but for starters:

1-click: Long Press: 2-clicks:
L1=3 ....... M1=6 ....... H1=10
L2=2 ....... M2=7 ....... H2=12

Added a 880098 1L/2L clip which fits perfectly.
Mostly as guide to help find the switch in a hurry,
but also can now be pocket carried head up or down.

fwiw, imo the easiest way to use a Zebra is to just cycle through the 3 memorized modes

per the instructions:
"Press and hold to cycle from Low, Medium and High, release at the desired level"

Looks like you inverted L1 - L2 output. Disagree with cycling through modes, the 2 clicks from off for H1 is twice a fast for me as compared to cycling up to it. A long press for M1 basically cycles up from L1.

For me, 75% + of my normal daily nighttime use is on the low-med modes, I just don't use the high output that much unless I'm chasing something away from the chicken coop or need to see across the yard..

Everyone will have different needs for their light.
It's nice to have the variety of options for sure!

Maybe they believe that 0.01 lumen minimum is more popular (sells better), than 0.05 minimum.

SC64: L1 1.9 Lm, L2 0.62 Lm, L3 0.17 Lm, L4 0.05 Lm
SC65: L1 1.5 Lm,.................... L2 0.20 Lm, L3 0.05 Lm, L4 0.01 Lm

It looks like Zebralight deleted the SC64 L2 output, to make room for L4 to be lower on the SC65.

They do, I don't know if through official sources, but never hurts to ask. When I used to go to China for work, I used to buy directly from them and they made some custom models for me that were discontinued a long time ago.

Don't get me wrong, I prefer the dimmer level on the 65. Wish my 65 got that dim.

Vapcell F12 Button Top is on the long side, not as bad as protected cell, but I would worry about damaging something. Thrunite 920mAh, Sofrin 900mAh, Wurkkos 900mAh all fit very well.
Vapcell F12 Flat top doesn't make contact in SC53c N, so won't turn the light on.

Got my SC65c HI today. I like it, tint and beam are very good. It's the best I got between all my lights. Better than 219B SW40 and SW45. Better contrast, colors pop and everything is so crisp. Seeing details requires less effort, it's insane. Makes 219B and 519A (both 4000K) look bland and washed out. It's marvelous. I have yet to test it outdoors, but indoors it's a winner. I need another one. Or two. Maybe three.

L4 is not 0.01 lumen, visually appears to be half or the SC64w HI L4 output, and compared to my 200 lumen HDS (which is calibrated), it looks the same as the 0.05 level. It's ok, but I would prefer lower.

Fit and finish are typical Zebralight. The tailcap spring has a sharp edge and scratches the battery negative pole like crazy. The SC64w HI spring tip is slightly bent inwards, I'll try to bend the SC65c HI spring as well.

I did some measurements with a multimeter, parasitic drain is roughly half of the SC64w HI. Newer electronics might have contributed to this.

Current draw on SC64w HI @245 lumens is ~0.5A and on SC65c HI @244 lumens is ~0.7A, so the Nichia 719A is not nearly as efficient as XHP35.

I tried to measure current draw on the SC65c HI H1 setting but for some weird reason, the light does not go full output, generates a hissing noise and sometimes flickers. I didn't insist for being afraid to damage it. The SC64w HI measured normally with no issues. Of all the many lights I own, I have never seen this happen. Anyone has any idea why?

I detected some flicker with an app on L4, L3 and L2 levels, but I can't see it with my eyes.

SC64w HI measured extremely low on the app, only 6% on L4.
