Ya one group calls this a Legacy light and some others call it something different. I was thinking we were talking about the lights that started all this.ill leave now😄

"Legacy" HDS looked basically like they do now but used V threads (among other small changes).

Ya see I have always called the U60-U42 etc Legacy lights. In fact I think there labeled that on the hds site map. Maybe not 🤔

That is not how the term has been generally used here on CPF, specifically in reference to Ra, but I agree it is very confusing (Original => NovaTac => Legacy => ACME)

.... BTW, there are three thread types. The original (before so-called "Legacy") HDS lights, and later the Novatac lights use a fine V-shape thread. The "Legacy" lights like yours and my HCRI 100 have a coarser V-shape thread. And of course the current generation is the ACME thread....
