I like these Merino wool hikers from REI. They are my go to everyday work socks. I still wear cotton for casual but being on my feet all day doing physical work I go wool most of the time.

I wear mostly knee-high socks due to the types of pants I like to wear. Just ordered a few more pairs in black yesterday. I avoid synthetics.
Really not much more to say. They're quite boring black cotton socks. I tend to wear almost exclusively black socks, they're easy to pair.

Santa brought me a twin pack of Muk Luks wool blend socks. Like wearing little foot warmers on a Christmas morning. Time will tell how well they stay up with boots on but for 'round the house they stay up well.
