The Titanium "Haiku"

Candle Power Flashlight Forum

Help Support CPF:

Some of us can't count
No matter cuz it's the light
That will bring us joy

After all these years, I don't have a McGizmo torch, but I think this one is a callin'!

daloosh

Like folly snowdrops
I lusted for the pale moon
When I need the sun

After following the Haiku thread and drooling over this lovely light I actually realized that what I really need is a LunaSol 20. I had been considering that light for some time now and finally ordered one today

That should brighten this winter's still prevailing darkness. No snowdrops here until the end of march. But is is getting better, 35 more minutes of daylight every week.

Of course, why settle with one when you can have two? 😗

Photons poetic
Do stimulate rods and cones
The journey begins

Yes, later today
The wave is caught and ridden
May all who wish, ride

Forget the rugrats
Focus on on important things
Score a fine Haiku

Today I listen
To speeches in English class.
I'll be out of luck.

It would look so bad
If I ignored the students
To watch the sales thread.

Chances are I will
Miss the haiku as this is
My last break today.

:mecry:

After reading the lunasol 20 review over and over (and over...) and realizing what I would really use the light for, I just ordered one, so one less haiku orderer to worry about! good luck and teachers have one of the most underappreciated jobs in the world... good luck.

The LS20 is a great light, indeed. I carry one every night in the house, and most nights I will be spending most of my time inside.
I think of the haiku as a three speed PD-S, function wise, and will likely take the place of my PD-S on outside and mixed-location nights.

You CLEARLY need both.

Hi Scout,

Well, that's exactly what I did 😀

But you know what they say about lights, one is none and two is one. Of course, knowing that one LS is on it's way to wintry Stockholm might make me think twice if it's worth to leave my bed in the middle of the night. And think of the poor little LS, it will certainly be a shocker coming from Hawaii to 10 degrees Fahrenheit - (right now). One might not want to expose yet another light to that kind of surprise. On the other hand, the LS would have a buddy.......

I have a meeting
With the curriculum head
Darn all of the hours!

Call in sick, due to sudden and severe anticurriculatory symptoms. Diminished ability to focus on teaching goals or learning outcomes requires immediate return to 1960's curriculum free pedagogics. Students respond by developing self-motivation, critical thinking skills and greater self-discipline, everybody is happy, AND you can try to order the Haiku

Clicking page reload,
I hope to see a new thread,
Haiku devotion.

What a waste of time,
Many glued to their laptops,
Don must be laughing.

I'm a Med student,
I should be studying now,
But the Haiku calls.

😀
