Think I found a good KL1 Deal

Think I know which site you're referring to sgtgeo... I just got my KL1 for that price too, and its definitely a good deal!

I tried it out last night (haven't received my E1e yet) by hooking up a used 123 to the head, and it just blew me away!! Love the beam, except its a little too violet, but I'm not complaining... now I REALLY can't wait for my E1e to come!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I think you're talking about TAD Gear. I ordered one from there too. Great price, but shipping was about the same as what TW charges for 2nd day Fed Ex. Waiting for UPS ground from TAD Gear was killing me. Have you had any experience with their customer service? After a few experiences I've had (not with TAD GEAR), I've decided to stay with the good customer service, even if it means spending a little more.

Bingo... I got my KL1 from them as well.. But they do offer free shipping for orders $100 and above... so I guess if you're just ordering a couple of items that are <$100, then maybe the shipping charges wouldn't differ much from others... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

Actually yes,

TAD is where i used to buy my Microtechs from when i was into that scene. Customer service has always been top notch. UPS shipping is slow. I work for them and I'm embarassed that the USPS can do it cheaper and quicker, at least coast to coast.
