Bit of an obscure one.... But it gets stuck in there when you hear.... Don't forget your garlic.

This one popped into my head today and has been running for awhile. It's the Beach Boys cover of Crocodile Rock. I like this one more than the original version - much higher energy.

I got a CD, Police's "Every Breath You Take, The Classics", lots of great content. Possibly the best $2 I ever spent.

"Don't Stand so Close to Me" version I recognize was in there, but also a 1986 remix which was smoother, different, and in its way just as good or better.

Well, almost complete. There are some versions of some tracks not included in any release of the box set. And for some reason the UK release got "Don't Stand So Close To Me '86" (Dance Mix) (6:32) while the US release got "Don't Stand So Close to Me '86" (4:47).

So to get *everything* ever released by The Police would require collecting a few more discs than the Message in a Box set.

Thanks for the additional detail. My CD is US/Canada (NA?) with the short version (4:48), nice track anyway. I suppose if I want everything I can find it, right now just a casual collector of CDs as I find them at low cost.

I really don't like it when tracks get "abridged". A soundtrack of "Clockwork Orange" by Walter Carlos (now Wendy) had a track "Timesteps". Vinyl had the full track, CD had a shortened one which cut out some of the better parts (after drumming which built up in intensity, then fell off into sound of crashing waves and crying seagulls). I wish I still had the LP.

Jean-Michel Jarre, a true pioneer of electronic music, continues his own work but also collaborates with a range of other artists of different genres; from Laurie Anderson, Moby, Little Boots, Armin Van Buuren, and Gary Numan to name a few. A good one is with the Pet Shop Boys, "Brick England".

The Woodchuck song!
(No worries, this is the weird version. Not the sensual one.)
