I read the instructions for this and it has two settings, high and low controlled by loosening the bezel.
I just solved the problem for this post by reading SelfBuilt's review on the V3. Thank you!
It turns out you have to flash the tail on/off switch to get it to alternate between strobe/low/med when you loosen the bezel.
My complaint is that this isn't mentioned in the instructions from Thrunite which is pretty poor, I think.
Nice torch, poor instructions, in fact negligently poor.
