I'm on the same page. Give me a big, big hot spot that lights a distance compatible with my eyesight, in a flashlight that I will use.

Oh, try 6 kids at 6 different universities from New England to Texas to Florida. :ugh: I could have Newlumen's collection! LOL

Sure. You are free to try any of my lights. Just pm me.

I guess I'm the only one besides prototype with this light in the world that i know of for now. Its awsome a little cooler tint than prototype but still within my limits. From 4300 to 5000 lumens does not seem like alot hopefully new driver can get like 1300-1500 more lumens. Mine is prenty bright and throws like hell will have to wait and see later if I upgrade driver but for now I'm happy.

Good for you. I am holding my blf gt cft 90 on hold... i have no idea how the beam perform in real life.

Well guys, I took my TN42vn XHP35 version out for a walk tonight. It hasn't been in the rotation for quite a while. WOW! Even this version is amazing. The CFT90 has to be a mind-blower!

I hope that everything is OK with Bully. I am next on the list to get the pass around. While I am very excited to get it, It would be nice to get away from the full moon we have right now. With snow on the ground that moon makes it so light at night that throwers lose their punch. Closer to the new moon will be ideal.

If I am correct, the TN42VN 90 PASS AROUND was intended for CPF members who are familiar with and own V54 lights to give detailed impressions and pictures (if able) of the light.

Thanks in advance for each one of your impressions and pics. And thank you Vihn for your generosity in giving many of us our only chance to experience such an outstanding light. :poke:

If possible each person who receives the light should report when they receive and send off the light to keep us all in the loop.

The moon was so bright last night I could read the writing on my water tower from 1.1 miles. It was something like.. call Betty Jane but I couldn't make out the phone number.

^^lol Vinh don't need the money :)

EDIT: Sorry forgot I wasn't in the Lounge. I go away now

Well anyway.. i tested my thrunite tn42vn oslon black this morning from my windshield.. i can illuminate the freeway reflector sign from 800 meters.. this is during morning time. This light have alot of potential in the dark..

i also like my manker u21vn oslon black, although this light doesnt throw far like a tn42vn. 400-500 meters no problem with the u21vn. U21vn is little brighter and hotspot is almost as good as tn42vn..

Congrats on the new lights, especially the U21vn. I really like the U21 as a host. Heavy build that feels great in the hand and throws very well for it's size. At around 465k lux, I am very tempted by this one.

So what is PFET driver?? I am sure my u21vn is brighter after fully charged. Will the light still be brighter at 3.8 v???
