Ok, seriously though - I visited the shop that's doing these today (by hand, mind you!), and it took him 2 hours to get through 7 beads! 😱oo: So it's taking longer than he expected (and using many more burrs than he quoted me for!), and said it will be a couple of more weeks. 🙁 Sorry - I wish I could make it go faster!

Thanks for reminding me - I meant to post this info today, but got back to work and got swamped with... work. :shakehead

No more than $15 (shipped first class) - haven't gotten final costs yet, but I'm not out to make any money on these - I'll charge you all what it will cost me. 🙂

Hi guys,

This project has been dragging its feet, much to my disappointment! Apologies are in order, but an explanation is even better.

The people who are drilling these beads were having a heckuva time, going through bits (or mills, or whatever they are), and instead of just telling me they couldn't do it, they've been saying they're just going slow.

Well, I got a phone call yesterday saying he couldn't do all of them - it wasn't worth his time.

SO, I'm picking up whatever he's done, and already have a couple options to get the rest done.

I'll keep everyone up to date as soon as I know more.

Sorry - this sucks for me too! I've had money sunk into this, and want to get everyone their beads so I can break even!

If it helps, Please change mine to only One bead.

If you can after I send you PayPal for it eventually, can you send it to Griff? I sold my SPY 007 to him for his friend's father.

When they're all done, I'll update the thread and ask everyone to confirm their interest and make payment then. If Ed wants to relinquish one of his, it's all yours, proline. I should also have a few extra, assuming none are botched in the process.

Both of you are on the "extras" list.

Just a status update - these have been shipped off to a different service provider who's used to working with Ti, and we'll see what happens. 😀 Hopefully somepin' good.

I'm sick of being the proud owner of a bunch of undrilled Ti beads! Sorry y'all... I'm trying!

They're on their way back to me, with thanks to the excellent precision work of a certain TranquillityBase! :twothumbs:clap: Besides being an excellent machinist, he's a half-ways decent guy too. :nana: And everyone on this list is lucky that Scott took this project on, and drilled, chamfered, AND polished these nasty little buggers! :bow: Thanks Meester TB! 😀
