I received my Ti beads today. They look and work fantastically! They are perfectly round and were easy to put on. I saw the installation process verbally explained, but no pics so I thought I might do pics for posterity. I know most of you already have these beads or similar beads on your other Spy's, so this will be just for the newbies like me!
You can start with an arm's length of dental floss, or I used fishing line. First, string one end of the line through the bead.
Then, run that same line end through the lanyard loop.
Next, loop that same line end back through the Ti bead. Be sure that if you ran the line through the bead from left to right, you run the line back through the bead from right to left.
Finally, wrap the line around a finger for leverage and pull the lanyard through the Ti bead.
Now we can put the lanyard on the Spy. Run one end of the line through the Spy, then through the lanyard.
Now run that same line end back through the Spy in the opposite direction.
So if you ran the line through from left to right, it should run back through from right to left.
Now wrap the line around a finger and give it a tug again. Once the lanyard is through the Spy's lanyard opening, loop the lanyard's wrist strap through the loop.
