I just got through arguing til I was blue in the face with some girl from Tiablo about my new straight out the box ACE that's defective. The brightness is nowhere near what it should be in comparison to UnknownVT's ACE photos or the Dereelight MC-E. I can barely get a noticeable spot out to way less than 50 yards!
I sent my own side by side A6 and ACE photo comparison to show her that there's only a slight difference between the two because of the ACE's reflector and size. And she tells me, "Oh yea, ACE is way brighter."
Which in reality, the ACE's spill should have over powered the A6 210 lumens by a mile and pretty much wipe out the A6 spill, in which it didn't.
She must of thought I was stupid or something because she told me that the other ACE photos were taken in such a way to trick you into thinking it's much brighter... WTH?! I sent her the DBS MC-E photo from the Dereelight site and she said the photo of the building was taken less then 50 yards and that professionals took it so that why it looks bright... WTH?! How stupid is that?! I still can't get over the other lame excuses she gave me!
