Question. How does the output of the TiFli compare to a Photon Micro-Light?

The light from the TiFli is nowhere near as bright as the light from a Photon or Fauxton. But it isn't supposed to be as bright. It is meant as a backup neck light for navigating the dark hallways to use the water closet during the late night hours without waking your significant other. I'm sure there could be other uses too. 😀

I don't know if the TiFli is dead or not, but Chip has been pretty silent lately.

I had to send back one of my TiFlis back in May due to a bum LED and haven't heard from Chip since I sent it off. I've sent an email and a PM with no response to either. All I want is a response.

I don't know what the deal is but it appears that there are also people wondering what is going on regarding the Ra clips.

I know that he recently got some clips done for Sabrewolf's Chimera Mini, so some work is getting out. :shrug:

There was a post a month ago, Chip started a new job and I know he's got some work "stored up" - he's got my Chimera mini body for anodizing, a knife & a light body.

I also bought a fancyfli and asked him to ship it with the knife & light body - I'm waiting patiently (I've got him email / phone & he does respond).

He hasn't been on the boards as much as he was 5 weeks ago (to put it mildly).

Hey there. I sent 2 emails but no reply, so I guess I'll try posting an order here. I'd like:

- one FancyFli with recessed LED
- one TiFli with exposed LED, splash anodized (would like to discuss color choices when the time comes)
- if you decide to start selling the titanium chain/clasps, I'd like one of those in a length somewhere betwee 26-30". (I realize you're probably not selling this yet.)

If you wanted to make a Timascus version, I would be all over it, by the way!

Please confirm this order, if you would.

Hey guys,

Sorry for not getting back to you this weekend, I was out of town for my wife's birthday. Like I said before, the new job has been pretty crazy, when they said "full time" it was a bit of an understatement. CPF related work IS still getting done, but not at the rate that it should be and I apologize for that, as well as not posting here more often. As was posted earlier, the mini-chimera clips needed to be done, and I just finished a 20 piece Ra clip order as well, that leaves ti-fli's, fancy-fli's and Neale's custom ano work. I really just haven't had the time for everything, as it is I just got off work (11 hours) and I haven't even eaten dinner yet, but you guys deserve answers. I'm rambling now, so here's the skinny and then I'm going to go eat. I'm going to try and get as much done as I can after work during this week, and then this whole weekend will be spent catching up, I hope to get most everything taken care of. I'll respond to individual posts/pm's/orders later on, probably tomorrow evening.

I know Chip started a new job and things must've gotten ****oo.

I feel bad for all those who are waiting--this is such a great light! I was kind of hoping this would become a "standard" here at CPF, like the Drake and the Wee... Oh Chip! I hope you are okay and I wish I could help you. Maybe someone who has been laid off could help you out part time for very little money? It'd be so cool to keep these lights going!

All I can say is that this summer a LOT got away from me as well--I'm so behind on work stuff and home stuff... ugh...

I spoke with Chip last weekend - he actually had a day to do some "catch up" work for CPF folks - along with family duties. Sure sounds like his work has been pretty crazy - but nice to have a full time job.

This thread was so HOT when it came out I hope it has a chance to live as well.

Yes, I've heard back.

They are nice little lights, but one of mine had a bum LED. It was so dim it wasn't even useful in almost pitch black with dark adjusted eyes. The other one I received worked as I had hoped, so it wasn't like I had unrealistic expectations.

Hopefully I'll be getting it back soon.

It's been about a month since we heard from Chip. I hate to be the pain in the you-know-what, but are these things going to be manufactured or should we just give up? I know he is busy, but I think an update would be appropriate. If he cannot fit these into his schedule, I think he should just cancel the orders and close out this thread.
