Fox can be purchased directly from TigerLight. It is a new product for us. I have extensive experience with Federal Labs, Capstun, Guardian, Body Guard, Defense Technology, freeze and punch. I have herd that Fox labs is highly effective. However, TigeLight is in negotiations to get a product called Pava from Jaycor. I understand that Pava is about 5 times as strong as the most potent OC spray.
Range:
Cone is effective out to about 12-15 feet under good conditions. The good of cone is that you do not have to aim it and it atomizes so it attacks breating right now. It also moves very fast, I have not seen anybody able to dodge it, or shield themselves from it. We have an armor holdings product that dispenses in a stream and reaches as far as 25 feet in good conditions.
Generally speaking I suggest that TigerLight users use cone spray. Even if they are LEO. The TigerLight is a stealth, non lethal defensive weapon. In LE use most of the pepper applications were 3 to 6 feet.
We did get a story from a civilian who used it to defend himself and his son against two attacking dogs. This was 10 to 15 feet. Stopped them dead in their tracks.
On one occasion stream spray was used on a suspect in a car. Stream with a low SHU rating was slow to subdue. This suspect came out of the car blind and shooting. I had to shoot him.
Next situation I sprayed 2 suspects in a car with a cone spray and a 2 mil SHU rating and both susects were subdued instantly. Did not have to shoot them.
As far as training. TigerLight, Inc. has an incredible training program for the tactical use of the TigerLight system. We certify LEO's and Certified trainers can train whomever they choose, but you must be a LEO to be an instructor.
For those in the Riverside CA area their is a guy named Ben Salazar that has a privately owned training center. You can get info through TigerLight Corporate.
