Tiny holder for two 123A\'s PLUS an AAA Batt for the ARC

This tiny holder: (looks much bigger than it really is) is a perfect fit either for an ARC AAA and a spare battery (10 hrs of light!) , OR two 123A'S for your Surefire/Streamlight/Asp or whatever. Plus- you can snuggle an AAA battery right next to them (safely). A quick touch of needle and black thread and a small strip of stick-on Velcro and you're in business!

I dunno if U could find this in pharmarcies in the States...but I could get it at about US$2 here in Singapore.

Its called "Dequadin Lozenges", manufactured by GlaxoWellcome... the aluminum container that the lozenges come with have space for three Lit123..its a nice fit for the diameter for the batteries(about 1mm of loose diameter left) The container is about the length of an E2 & the bonus....its quite air-tight.(sorri haven't check it out, but considering the design for the container for lozenges, its safe to assume that its air-tight)

Hope that this little tip helps.

mikep...

Yup, that's the one.

I have one in the fridge, but never thought of using it as a battery carrier until now.

the container is metal, so just to be carefully not to short the 3 batt or u will be in trouble.

Juz to add,
I recently discover using some marker-caps as dummies to replace the 'third' CR123........recycle and very cheap. Alternatively, U can stick a 1cm rubber pad at the metal end of the tube and uses it to store 2 Lits AA or 3 CR123.
