I should have a set arriving in the mail today. I searched and searched, but couldn't find much info here on them. Anyone got them? Needed/done any resistance fixes? Pushed past 5A? These are serial 3*aa>d. I'll post up my review of them if no one has any experience. Is there a way to test the actual resistance of the carriers?

I contacted BJ and they don't know anything about the adapters. I asked if there was a current, or amp, limit on them. I asked if they could handle 5+ amps. All they could tell me was "yes, you should be able to get 5 amps out of Eneloops".
There is a post in CPFMP from T.I. that says they were produced for the US government.
They came in the mail yesterday. They seem quite stout. Eneloops fit perfectly and snugly. Springs and contacts are gold/plated. All connections appear to be made within a circuit-type board completly encased in the ends. Can't see inside but i assume they're soldered. They look like they'll come apart fairly easily, mabye i'll get the micro-screwdrivers out sometime soon. No one has a way to test the resistance of these things?

Update:
These do not handle high current well at all. Contact ends get hot. I imagine replacing the (steel?) caps with copper would make a difference. Screw these things, i'm building my own from now on.
