Received mine today, very nicely done, I like it very much. I would recommend a bit of bubblewrap or something better for shipping though, as the package was worn through where the clip was sitting. Thanks for the quick, quality work.

Thanks Chip. I just got mine today... The bezel down clip is nice!!!

Has anybody able to get the Ti Screws to fit a Clicky?

I can not make mine fit.

TIA!

Mine wouldn't fit either and I think that I ended up stripping one completely and the other partially. Maybe these aren't spec'd quite right???

Edited to add:

I love the clip! Thanks a lot Chip! The deep-bezel-down is very nice and it carries exactly like I want it to--I think that it's a lot easier to grab and turn on when it's bezel-down. The only problem that I have now is that I have the ugly stock black screws holding this beautiful clip on.

mine fit like a charm. just note that the holes dont go in straight if you are looking down on it, they actually angle inwards.

Yeap I try with no luck..

Right now I am using the stock screws... Looks weird... :sick2:

The Ti screws don't fit well here, either. So I'll also use the stock screws.
Nice clip though.:twothumbs

Hey guys,

I'm not really sure what to tell you about the screws. They are the exact same 4-40 thread as the stock ones. I just tried out all 20 pairs remaining that I have here, and they all threaded in freely.

Have you tried them without the clip, they should thread in freely. For those of you that have clips that apply pressure to the body of the light... I'd recommend installing the clip without the battery tube installed to avoid undue pressure on the screws during the mounting process.

My screws fit just fine. They need to go in at a slight angle.
If they start to feel a little tight. DON'T FORCE it, unscrew it and
retry. Mine go in like butter.

Clip and screws received yesterday. All perfect: packing, clip, and screws! I just polished the clip a little. A little side note: Be careful, it's not a Torx 6 as mentioned in post #72. It's an Allen key (I don't remember the size right now). Chip, thanks again for doing this. Nice work! Tom

Chip,

the shortened Low Rider Clip you made for my Clicky looks really great and fits perfectly. One of the two screws does'nt fit, it got stuck. The other one fits in both boreholes. I had to use the stock screws.

Many thanks for the cool clip!
Richard

Yes, the Torx 6 does not grip precise.
