Anybody know where I can get a TK41 battery holder?

I contacted Fenix and they said contact the distributor (Optics Outlet) who, after a month have not responded.

So, I am asking the wealth of knowledge here, if there is something I can do to fix what I have.

When I recharge the batteries after the TK41 is spent, 4 of the 8 batteries show fully charged with the MAHA c-9000.

Is the battery holder to blame??? Is this an intrinsic issue?

WTH??!

Give me a clue!!!

I think you have a contact problem. The TK-41 will run on 4 batteries.
The other 4 are just along for the ride. Take the 4 spent batteries out
and see it runs on the last 4. If not , rearrange the slots to see if it works there.

I don't have a TK-41, but try this:
(1) Close visual inspection.
(2) Use a VOM to check the voltage with all batteries loaded.
(3) Do as Iwknight suggested. Rearrange the batteries & check voltage in each location.
(4) Tighten any/all screws.
(5) Reflow any visible solder (if any).
(6) Use your VOM to check continuity.
This problem can be solved. Too bad it hard to find a new battery holder.

I have not had this problem with my TK41. So it's not that the other 4 batteries are just taking up space. This sounds like an internal electronics issue. If your inspection doesn't turn anything up this sounds like it will fall under the warranty as this is most likely a manufacturer defect. Then again, if it works and Fenix won't replace it, at least you have a working TK41. It would be worse if it didn't put out any light at all.

What HotWire said except:

Check voltage with one set of 4 batteries in place, then the other set of 4. The batteries are 4s2p so checking voltage with both sets in place won't tell you anything if at least one set is functioning.

If it's on warranty, get the holder replaced. If it's off warranty, remove the two end plates (4 screws each) and check the soldered connections on the inside face of the PC board. Note that the metal plate at the tailend is not a terminal; both + and - are at the front end.
