I wanted to add my +1 vote for Tom Bihn. My wife and I have several of their pieces and they are all excellent quality.
I carried a 'Western Flyer' as my EDC bag for 10 years, it's amazing how much this bag will hold and how compact it naturally becomes when lightly loaded. I've recently switched to a GoRuck, but still compare the two regularly with no clear winner.
We also have and enjoy Tom Bihn zip pouches of various sizes, their packing cubes and their Aeronaut MLC (maximum legal carry on) bag.
Top notch, quality built, durable gear. Extremely well though out.
