Cheapy Craftsman rollaround here. It does the job.

Wishing for Snap-On!

Oh man, I used to work at the Crystal Lake, IL distribution warehouse. If I told you how many times I've seen forklifts punch through a Snapon toolbox (or how many times I was the actual offender :p) you'd cry.

I don't use traditional tool boxes myself. My tools sit in nylon 6 pallet tool backpacks with two outside pockets nestled in either Jensen or Pelican cases that have extending handles and wheels to roll on. Yes, I have to drag them around the world at times and it makes it so much easier to get through airports. :)

I used to have several snap-on boxes but the wife said they couldn't come in the house, so I sold them. Now I've just got a roller craftsman box because it's vintage and "cute"..

1 small craftsman in the garage for grarage type tools
2 Kennedy 8 drawer Machinist chests
1 Gerstner 52 toolchest (in the old leatherette -I wish it was wood finish) - these are NOT cheap - I think I dropped 4 bills for my used one - they run almost $900 new!

Edit

Forgot to mention I have a set of either Lista or Vidmar cabinets on my "short list" -

When I still lived in downtown Seattle, I had a heavy-duty metal one, fire engine red in color inside & out. Removeable metal drawer (with integral handle) on the upper level, large space below that for larger or oddly-shaped tools. Black folding handle on the top (outside) of the lid, two latches to keep the lid closed during storage or transport. Size approximately 24"L, 10"D, 8"W. I have long ago since forgotten who the manufacturer was, so please do not ask.
