Erm, yeah.

So if you have a 2500 maH AA cell, and it recharges 80% in one minute, then that would be....

2500 maH * 80% = 2000 maH.

2000 maH in one minute = 120 amps! of current for one minute.

I'm pretty sure they're talking about tiny cells on the order of 200 maH or less, because obviously a charger which can deliver 120 amps would probably need special government permits.

Most AA sized Li-Ions are around 700mAh. It's the Ni-MH cells that are around 2500mAh.
