can i replace the bulb in the headlight on my toyota tundra for better performance? if so, where and how much??

thanks.

Hmmm. The "headlamp" in the title of this forum may have thrown you. This one here is for flashlights, typically. You'll have more luck in the "non-flashlight light" area under "general light discussions."

allow me to answer this one guys...

I have switched to a HID conversion on my Tundra, and it put out 3 times as much light as stock, and draws 1/3 of the power. The color temperature is also around 5k Kelvin, so it makes the paint on the road sort of glow at night. Cost around 500 now.

You can get PIAA bulbs, they are a lot whiter, say half way between HID and regular. I can't remember what they are called, something like ION WHITE or PLASMA WHITE. $80 for two.

I think PIAA bulbs use about 40watt, but output looks like 80watt.
