The Tri "Tye" Cree was received today with no problems.

It is a sweet light!
:goodjob:

Thanks!

That is spectacularly nice. rcnuk, you have done well. Trouble is, if I owned it, I would hardly dare use it in case it got scratched! The "spectrum" color effect is beautiful - it must be a very difficult and specialised job to do that.

Thanks DM51,
Mac did an excellent job on this light. I carry all of my lights and they don't become shelf queens for long. This one may see more time on the shelf because it is a "shorty" it doesn't fit well in my big hands. I'm little afraid of it slipping out and dropping it. Still it will see some use. It's a sweet light with top notch build quality and the flupic is very fun to play with.

Yep, I had the same problem with my head-heavy aspherical mag, so I use the LeefRing 9" deep red paracord lanyard as seen in picture below. (setup by PJD).

For even more protection, try this:

Andy,
I think I'll keep it for a while longer. Thanks for the offer.:)

tanasit,
That is what I'll need to do. Lighthound sells the rings but do you know where PJD found the boot? Right now I stick mine in a beer cozy. Nice aspherical mag, BTW.:)
Thanks

This is what Phil told me:
Remember the old Dorcy Cool Blue flashlight? Well, now there's a new version of it that's sold at Target. It's a 4XAA .5W light that uses a Nichia Rigel. I bought one of those just to take the rubber sleeve off of the bezel for the Aspherical Mag. The rubber sleeve peels right off of the clear plastic bezel of the Dorcy and fits over the Mag like it was made for it! The Dorcy is only $9.99 at Target...
