Does anybody know if a tritium vial watchband compass exists anywhere, and if so, where I can get one? The luminescent paint of most watshband compasses is marginal at best, and downright SAD in most!!!
Have you found one yet PJD? That is a very good question becuase i was wondering the same thing myself.
I'm going to doubt that one exists. Luminox specialized in Tritium watches and they too make a compass band for their watches...but i din't think that they glow at all.

LEDagent, I'm wearing one like that right now. It's about the diameter of a quarter and weighs next to nothing. A little splash of light from my ArcAAA or Infinity and it glows pretty good.
LEDAgent...I haven't found one yet, and I've looked everywhere for what seems like forever
I have several compasses for my watchbands, and from a luminoscity standpoint, the best one I have is the Clipper from SUUNTO. (there's 2 models...the one with the blue face is NOT luninous). It has a ratcheting bezel, and it is by far the most readable of the ones I have. The cardinal points and the bezel are luminous. But, alas
LEDAgent...In RE, the pic you posted was a SUUNTO Clipper (non-luninous). The luminous model has a black face. They're not as bulky as ther appear. The supplied band shown in the photo is thinner than most watchbands, so the compass appears bulkier than it is. The SUUNTO is slightly larger than most watchband compasses, but not by that much. And what it lacks as far as "diminutivity" (...is that a word?...), it more than makes up for in function. Pretty good compass, but I STILL WANT TRITIUM!!!
