With help from a friend I just received a tritium watch from County Comm. On the back it is dated Nov 2002. First impression, it is quite loud. Those of you that have had Swatch watches will know what I'm talking about, you can hear the "ticking".

It is not as bright as a glow ring, but the vials are not as thick as the one in a glow ring. Plenty bright for seeing what time it is in the dark.

Nice watch. I see it's sold out. Does anyone have the Marathon Navigator?

I have the Stainless Steel Navigator. The Tritium pattern looks the same as the photo. Keeps pretty good time, according to my NIST synchronized clock the watch is loosing about one second per week.

The tick is not very loud at all. It is quite a bit larger than my previous watch.

Does the second hand glow on the Maarithon Navigator? My Luminox second hand has a capsule on it. The 60 second position on the bezel also glows.

Nothing on the second hand, there is a luminox [not Tritium] dot in the 12 o'clock postion of the bezel. The 12 o'clock position of the face has a different color Tritium than the rest of the face [see the originals Post Picture].

I realy fancy a Tritium watch (but heck they are expensive)for those of us in the UK or just interested try these links

http://www.traser.com/

seems very similar to Luminox but with less silly graphics

http://www.military.co.uk/

click CWC Military Watches. These look a little more serious, maybe comparison to the Marathon etc

By the way look out for the circle T that indicates Tritium on UK watches.

Look at Meridian Tactical, even after paying the international shipping still cheaper than buying here in the UK.

X-RAY, S3000 is the exact same watch as my Luminox Navy Seal watch, same specs. Says Tracer on the back, mb-microtec Inc. Bill
