Having edited the more colorful expressions of your eloquent dismay, I am moving your thread into the Batteries section.

I own a WF-139 and it works. I have also heard good things about the sku.6105 charger from DX. I do not own that charger yet.

my wf-139 works, but the LEDs act weird.

before, when you plugged it in, they would be green,
and now they're extremely dim. seems like a resistor issue.

You don't tell us the model number, the type of cells, your local power supply, how you "knew" the cells were not full, or even what actually happened.

What are you expecting when there is no information to go on?

What Marduke said.

However, for info, I have a WF-139 and it works just fine. Always terminates at 4.16 - 4.18 and I always check with a DMM.

I am nonetheless getting a Pila IBC.

What type of 18650 batteries? What country are you in (power outlet specs)? How were you SURE the batteries were not already full? Can you describe what actually happened in non-comic book speak?

yes you are correct. I think there's one other ____fire that is also the same company. Ultra-, trust-, and another?

PANG PPAAPPA PANG

I had the same problem with my Ultrafire WF-139. The first time i plugged it in the AC part of the charger exploded. After opening that piece of junk I saw the input fuse and the ciruict path to the inductor were transformed into magic smoke. Luckily the 12V part still works so I use it now with a 12V CV source.

x2... I own two of these chargers and no problems at all. They are the newer ones that terminate charge upon peak, with no slow trickle.

I have also had very good luck with their white protected cells. To say an entire brand s*cks based upon a single isolated experience is [you fill in the rest].

I would question the stability of the AC wall outlet/source, before the charger.
