Probably should have PM'd or emailed you, but thought others might also be interested in it as well. Shame it's such a dictatorship over here at this forum, that seems like such a stupid rule, some of BLF's modders are among the best out there.

See rule #8. If you have issues with the rules, take it up in private with a moderator...maybe you'll convince them, and get it changed.

I only hang around Vinh's subforum, so I can't really comment on that, but there other un-named torch forum(s) out there with alot of friendly people.
Everyone (aside from 1 person that occasionally likes to stir the pot) here in Vinh's subforum is really nice and is happy to offer advice. It's more than Vinh's quality modified torches that keep me coming back.

Now that the Christmas rush is over, any chance for a warm white mod? Cree C513A can take 100mA pulsed, which might fit in with this light?

That said, anyone know what this LED is? The Nichia 570G (NSDW570GS-K1) is a 70 degree beam and can take a pulsed current max of 200mA. I'm guess that this mod takes it from 100mA to 200mA? This is the best fit I could find really.( Also based on the battery being 100mAh and the run-time on turbo is 27 minutes)

Not sure how these are but the I played with Probably nichia warm tint 5mm leds before and they were nowhere as bright as these . There is also a hint of purple that sucks. I think the TubeVN stock LED is the best I have ever seen from this type of LEDs.
