U2-style, Eastward YJ vs 8W Super Bright

Hi guys, i just recieved another variation of a U2 style light with XR-E emitter.
Will post a detailed review, mean while have a look at a side-by-side comparison.

Nope, its different both in terms of form and output.
The only similarity is its 2 stage output via tail cap.

Edited: Sorry for the confusion. The "new" U2 style on DX is the same as the one on kaidomain.com

Yup, its less bright. Full review will have to be done later cos i the light i recieved has some manufacturing defects, so im sending it back.

Did a quick beamshot comparison.

I don't think any one got the new "8 watt" Cree from DX yet, so no comparisons with that one yet, and the U2-Cree(older one) is cheaper anyways

Sorry i misread ur previous post, i thought u were refering to the Eastward YJ. Yes u are right, it's the same light as the "new" one on DX.

The exact same "new" style on DX has actually be available from kaidomain.com for sometime already and i received mine yesterday.

It's not as bright as the Eastward YJ version, even tho the description stated on DX says otherwise.

Ok, I didn't know that.
Now I know exactly which ones I'm getting, C2 OR the U2 Cree.
