You just twist the bezel to turn it on...

It's probably the single most used light, of all of the many flashlights I own. Small, very tough, completely waterproof, very bright, nice beam, not too expensive to operate. There's no other light quite like it in curent production.

I'm a fan of the 2L's. I've got several of 'em. Nice little 2 lithium light. And it's not that expensive (taking into account the replacement bezel).

Also, if the bezel is properly lubed you can easily use it one-handed.
The 2L was unique when it was first introduced years ago. It remains unique and has no competitors in its size/weight class.
